The Congressional Award was created to promote and recognize America’s outstanding youth. The Congressional Award and Scouts are organizations that share values like initiative, service, and achievement. The two organizations formed a former national partnership in 1999. Through The Congressional Award, Scouts can be recognized by the United States Congress for activities they are already completing through their connection to Scouts.
