This amazing experience is specifically designed for kids leaving grades 5-8 who are interested in learning about energy, basic kinematics, outer space, engineering design and build process, having fun with math as well as how to use it in everyday life, our environment, and where our food comes from. This camp will help fulfill requirements for the Boy Scout NOVA award, various Girl Scout STEM merit badges, and help provide an understanding for 4-H projects. Participants will have a blast learning through hands on activities, live demonstrations, applications of learned principals, and expert guests for each field. Participants should bring a sack lunch (can be refrigerated).
