The Boy Scouts of America’s merit badge program provides opportunities for youth to explore more than a hundred fields of skill and knowledge, plays a key role in the fulfillment of Scouting’s educational commitment.
The NOVA Awards program incorporates learning with cool activities, exposure to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for Scouts of all ages. The hope is that the requirements and activities for earning these awards stimulate interest in STEM-related fields and shows how science, technology, engineering, and mathematics apply to everyday living and the world around them.
Virtual Merit Badge Process:
1) Complete Registration Form here.
2) Complete Payment through Kaleidoscope NOVA MBU (that’s here!).
3) Submit prerequisite work by merit badge deadline by November 7, 2020. Follow the instructions here. Once completed prerequisites have been received, a Zoom link will be sent to the address on the registration form.
Cost to register is per Scout.
