FIRST LEGO League Discovery

ages 4-5 (3 with approval)
In Discovery students will spent 5 weeks exploring STEM-related concepts pertaining to LEGO and robotics.

Learn, Design, Build

3rd & 4th Graders
This class is designed for children in 3rd and 4th grades. Students will participate in various STEM activities that culminate in learning how to design and build a LEGO robot. Class will be held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Students will need to bring their own non-refrigerated lunch. Class is one day

    FIRST LEGO League Explore

    grades 1-4
    In Explore, teams of students ages 6-10 focus on the fundamentals of engineering as they explore real-world problems, learn to design, code and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks and powered by LEGO Education WeDo 2.0.

  • Individual Registration: $55 (on a team of six with a parent coach)
  • Individual Registration: $115 (on a team of six with a KDC coach)
  • Team Registration: $325 (for a team of six with a parent coach)

  • FIRST LEGO League Challenge - REGISTRATION CLOSED

    grades 4-8 Students will use an EV3 or SPIKE PRIME in a friendly competition. Students ages 9-15 engage in research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering – building and programming a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a robot game.

    Future City -REGISTRATION CLOSED

    grades 6-8
    Missouri Future City Competition is a project-based learning program where students in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades imagine, research, design, and build cities of the future that showcase their solution to a citywide sustainability issue.

    NOVA/STEM MBU - REGISTRATION CLOSED

    November 12, 2022 the Kaleidoscope will offer 4 different Merit Bdge oppotunities in Rolla at The Missouri University of Science & Technology.
