Congratulations Future City Teams!
Future City Competition, now in its 30th year and the Missouri General Competition component of Future City took place on January 22, 2022. Dozens of local middle school students (grades 6 – 8) participated in this year’s theme: Waste Free city. Each team was tasked with imagining a city with a circular economy by writing a 1,500-word essay; building a scale model of their city (using with recycled materials); and present a short video.
