August is possibly the busiest time of our year! We’re finishing up our summer camps and finalizing our summer outreach and most importantly preparing for the upcoming year.
We are excited to announce our after school enrichment program for grades K-6 and our weekly Tot School coordinated with the Rolla Public Library, and Parents as Teachers programs and The Centre. It is great to be working and coordinating with such great programs that serve the youngest in our community!
Last week we saw many students in the community at the series of Open Houses and Registrations organized through the Rolla Public Schools. We’ll be at St. Pat’s on Monday and on Tuesday, August 14, we’ll be hosting our second annual regional Homeschool Expo sponsored by Level Paths Investment.
As we say goodbye to our valuable summer AmeriCorps VISTAs, we thank you for your service to our community!  Taylor, Brandy, Cheyenne you reached over 1600 students this summer with engineering, robotics and science opportunities. We’ll miss Dani whose year-long position came to a close last week.
Please watch for upcoming announcements from Rolla Robotics and our FIRST robotics Lego League and Lego League Junior programs, the Future City team, Rolla Strings, Saturday programs, 4-H projects, Scouting merit badges and School Days Off events!
Sneak Peak – we’ll have an announcement about a new exhibit coming soon!
